Angela graduated with a first-class BA (hons) in Three-Dimensional Crafts at the University of Brighton in 2000. She specialised in plastics (wet resins) and visual research (drawing) but also worked in ceramics, wood, metal, printmaking and photography.

A Post-Graduate Certificate in Professional Development in Arts & Cultural Heritage (ArCH) at the University of Brighton followed (June 2002 - March 2003). Angela also used the course as a networking opportunity to develop her art career.
